About Bee Sew Eco

Hi! I’m Sarah, I founded Sew Bee Eco (formally Eco Coach House) in 2019 at the end of my maternity leave. I’ve had a love for sewing ever since my daughter was born in 2016. I decided I wanted to make her Christening gown, which I managed to finish the night before! Only this year in 2024 I made my own wedding dress. In true Sarah style I also finished my dress the night before my wedding!

I’ve always had a love for sustainability, although I didn’t always realise. My parents taught us not to litter from an early age. We have always grown various fruits and vegetablesand had a compost heap at the end of the garden. Taking our own bags shopping had always been a thing even before they charged. We started looking into more ways in which we could help the environment, starting with my mum making beeswax wraps. I then started making them too and perfected the recipe for then. Eventually I started to sell my wax wraps as a hobby, and eventually grew from there.

We decided to use cloth nappies and wipes with my son. I’m always trying to think up new products which are good quality and functional. A lot of my products have been born from our own swaps. We use everything which I make within our own daily lives before adding them to our website. This ensure they function as intended and reduce/remove the need for their disposable alternatives.

We now stock an extensive range of reusable and environmentally friendly products. We always ensure that companies we source from have the same ethos as us. If there are products which we don’t currently stock which you would like us to, please let us know. Our range is expanding all the time and I’m so happy to have you on this journey with us πŸ’š

Happy Shopping!
